FREECYCLE FURNITURE PROGRAM A SUCCESS STORY

Whether or not Peter Carvalho, owner of Just Junk is aware of the old saying "one man's junk is another man's treasure" his actions are proving it true. For the last six weeks the Just Junk warehouse has been open to the community on Monday evenings for people who are looking for furniture and household items. Carvalho says “We do it because we want to do it and help the community” and the program also saves household items from the landfill. The discarded items that people pick up are being reused, repurposed and retreasured .
