I hope your summer is going swimmingly!
You may recall that we helped set up an Infill Townhall meeting about a month ago, with people from all three levels of government in attendance. We heard many stories from residents who have experienced all manner of issues related to infill; the predicaments people have been put in are unforgiveable.
Individuals, groups, communities, and business leaders have done everything they can to fight the infill issues and advocate for change; in fact, the ongoing effort is nothing short of exhaustive. All this has proven fruitful to some degree for sure, and in several cases, precedents have been set, which is very hopeful. But we need to do more!
A number of the various infill groups, and individual leaders in them, believe it's time to start an intensive lobbying effort aimed at the Provincial Government. The campaign begins at a public meeting next week. Please make every effort to attend.
