ROYAL ALEX EMERGENCY LOSES HEAT DUE TO & DURING COLD SNAP

The Royal Alex emergency can now be added to the list of people and places that have experienced all all kinds of problems during this extreme cold snap. An air handling system issue caused by freezing temperatures has been identified as the problem and cause of temporary heat disruption in the RAH emergency department triage and waiting room. The facilities and engineering team is working to fix the problem and the RAH ED remains open to walk-in patients during the disruption.
