INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED ICE CARVERS PARTICIPATE IN EDMONTON'S INTERNATIONAL ICE CARVING COMPETITION

On Thursday to Saturday seven teams of ice carvers worked their creative magic with huge blocks of ice. A team comprised of carvers from Calgary and the Philippines won the competition with their sculture The Huntress. The sculptures will remain in the Ice District until the end of February or longer, depending on the weather. The public is invited to tour the sculptures and cast their vote for the People's Choice Award.
