GOVERNMENT TAKES THEN GOVERNMENT GIVES
First, the City approves the demolition of 500 affordable rental units on federal land. The City's plan is to allow developers to build a mix of new single-family and multi-residential homes mostly for private sale which will result in the neighbourhood’s current residents losing their affordable rental homes.
