IS EDMONTON CITY ADMINISTRATION OBSTRUCTING THE ANTI RACISM PLAN?

28 representatives of Edmonton's African and Caribbean communities say the Anti-Black Racism Action Plan has been "gathering dust" since it was unanimously approved by city council last August. They say City administration has actively engaged in delaying tactics, obstructionism, and attempts to pit communities against one others.

According to the city, many recommendations are being addressed through other initiatives but from what African and Caribbean communities say it is either not enough or the wrong initiatives.
