A 13-year-old boy on his bicycle was killed in a hit-and-run on 34 Avenue between 48 Street and Mill Woods Road, near the Minchau neighbourhood around 4 a.m. A passer by found the boy injured but he was pronounced dead on at the scene.

Police reported there was no vehivle at the scene when emergency responders arrived.Police are looking for a blue 2014-2018 Mazda 3 sedan or hatchback likely with damage to its front end and driver side.
