Safe Street infrastructure in our communities includes:

  • School Safety Upgrade projects to improve safe routes to schools at Shauna May Seneca and Corpus Christi
  • A new Vision Zero Street Lab in Greenview. Participate in public engagement from May 13 - June 3 at edmonton.ca/StreetLabs.
  • Rapid Flashing Beacons installed in Charlesworth (54 St SW & 6 Ave SW),  Kameyosek (34 Ave & 71 St), Roper Industrial (Roper Rd & 70 St), and Walker (Watt Common SW & South of Ellerslie Rd SW)
  • Adaptable Improvements installed in Ellerslie (Edwards Dr SW & 83 St SW AND  Edwards Dr SW & 6 Ave SW), and Charlesworth (2 Ave SW & 64 St SW AND  62 St SW & 6 Ave SW)
  • Pedestrian Signals installed at Mill Woods Town Centre (28 Ave & Youville Dr E), and Strathcona Industrial Park (34 Ave & 92 St)
