Weekend protests were reminiscent of the 1960s' when protests were a regular occurrence.The protests this past weekend were about human rights in Gaza and the governments proposed legislation that would limit access to medical treatments for trans youth. Its hard to gauge how effective the protests are but no doubt they will continue.

Prime Minister Trudeau likes to be seen on the global stage with other leaders. I think he was probably happy to with other leaders in Brussels but I doubt he was prepared for the reception he received from some of the leaders who looked beyond the veneer and called him out for his hypocrisy.
