My wife & I were among the 20,000 other music lovers who braved the heat of the day about 1/4 of the way up the hill above main stage at Folk Fest 2024. As you can see in the photo above there is not one bit of shade to be found anywhere on the hill. I emailed our expat children a photo about 3:00 PM. and told them I could be turned over and should be well done in about 90 minutes.

In a news release Terry Wickham revealed Robert Plant and Alison Krauss will be the headliners who close the festival on August 11th. Plant and Krauss have performed together before and released an album 2007 but their performance together at this year's festival will be the first for Plant and second for Krauss who performed at the festival 19 years ago.
The line up of performers for this years Folk Fest have been announced. From local favourites to international stars, there’s seriously something for everyone in the lineup. Look at the lineup, think of who you'd like to see and/or when you'd like to attend and get ready for when the tickets go on sale June 4th.
