With all the excitement surrounding the Oilers playoff run its easy to forget that Edmonton has another professional team that sports fans get excited about. The Elks have been busy in the off season making changes on the defensive side of the ball. A common saying around football fans is "defense wins games" and the Elks hope the changes they have made will take them to the CFL playoffs.

Week 9 of the CFL season is officially in the books, bringing with it a number of changes to our power rankings. Only one team stood pat from last week with changes taking place throughout the rest of the list, including a top three that has remained the same for quite some time.
