Hello Ward Karhiio,It has been a busy Summer! I hope you are taking some time to rest and recharge. Besides some time spent visiting families, I have been focusing on learning more about our public services through hands-on learning experiences these last few months, with various ride-alongs. My team and I are also focused on bringing the many excellent Community-Based Budgeting proposals into Ward Karhiio (exciting announcement coming soon), and taking stock of our priorities and key issues in the community as we gear up for a busy Fall Council schedule and budget. In the meantime, I hope to see you out in the community at the various festivals and events this month (check them out here)!Stay safe and healthy, Keren

The last few years there is evidence that there's much happening at YEG than what takes place at the main terminal. As you get closer to the terminal you see a number of new buildings that have some connection to YEG, but just what that connection takes understanding of airport activity beyond planes and passengers.

Someone who knows, understands and has spearheaded much of transition of YEG from a passenger terminal to a gamechanger for the Edmonton Metro Region and Canada’s North is Myron Keehn. Myron Keehn is President & CEO of Edmonton International Airport (YEG) has done a fantastic job of putting YEG and Edmonton on the aeronautical map.

Although Edmonton and area communities have long used YEG as an identifier rather that EIA (Edmonton International Airport) it became official on Monday.
