The site of a new stand-alone Stollery Children’s Hospital was announced to be on the University of Alberta’s South Campus, at the northeast corner of 122 St. and 51 Ave. The site has room for expansion and is close to the University Hospital.

The Stollery Chidrens' Hospital is one the leading care facilities for sick children in Canada and it keeps on getting better. Spending time in hospital can be difficult and stressful for anyone and even more so for children who require specialized and often long term treatment. To help children remember they are children while dealing with the stress of their illness and hospitalization the Stollery has provided play areas for them. Now the play area of Stollery has been improved and grown with the opening of the renovated Saville Family Indoor Beach and new outdoor Enchanted Forest.

The 25th Stollery Childrens' Hospital two day Radiothon begins today. The Stollery Childrens' Hospital is the most specialized children’s hospital in Western Canada and provides expert care to kids from Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan and across the three territories.
