We had/have four children but unlike Tara and Tommy Watson, our four children weren't born the same day or even the same year. When the Watsons went for the first ultrasound they thought twins might be a possibility but were shocked to find out they were having quadruplets. Then on July 8th, Theodore, Sydney, Kenna and Maxwell Watson were born. The Watson's have one other daughter, Emmy Lou who is two years old.

Although the quadruplets are still less than 2 months old Tara Watson said the experience has been a profound lesson in leaning on community. "It's been a really important lesson for me to lean into the help and to accept help and ask for help."

When does 3 turn into 7? When an Edmonton mother of a family of three will soon become a family of seven, with the arrival of quadruplets. Tara and Tommy Watson will become parents to the sixth set of quadruplets in Alberta. They had a a group of family & friends join them on Friday for a 'gender reveal" and its 2 boys and 2 girls.

Tara is now 25 weeks into her pregnancy and fortunately can draw upon her 2nd cousin, mother of the Webb quadruplets, to tell her what to expect before and after the birth of the Watson quadruplets. In their looking ahead Tara and Tommy are getting accustomed to multiplying by 4 and adding that to 7.
