ASHLEY SALVADOR ANNOUNCES RE-ELECTION BID FOR WARD METIS

We're a little over 5 months away from the next Civic election so people are making their intentions known to run as candidates for mayor, councillors, public and Catholic school trustees.

On Saturday Ashley Salvador announced her intention to run for a second term as councillor for Ward Metis. Salvador's states her priorities are protecting public services, fiscal responsibility, and advancing affordability, safety and sustainability in Edmonton.

Salvador thinks municipal political parties are a “threat to local democracy” so she is running as an independent candidate.
